Brandscout participated in PDAC: The World’s Premier Mineral Exploration & Mining Convention that was held in Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, from March 3rd to March 6th.

The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) is the leading voice of the mineral exploration and development community. With approximately 8,000 members around the world in all sectors of the mining industry, PDAC’s mission is to promote a globally-responsible, vibrant and sustainable minerals industry. As the trusted representative of the sector, PDAC encourages best practices in technical, operational, environmental, safety and social performance. PDAC is known worldwide for its annual PDAC Convention, which is regarded as the premier international event for the mineral industry. In 2018, the convention attracted more than 25,000 people from 135 countries.

Brandscout took part at this year's RC Show, held at Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place in Toronto from February 24th to February 26th. RC Show is Canada's largest food service & hospitality trade show, showcasing cutting-edge products, pioneering people and transformative ideas.

Presented by Restaurants Canada, RC Show is a trade show and conference with educational and networking events designed to help the industry flourish. With over 800 exhibitors, spread over 250,000 square feet, the RC Show is one of Canada’s largest foodservice and hospitality events bringing the industry together to shop, taste, learn, connect and grow their businesses. This year’s theme was sustainability which came to life on the show floor, through seminars, panels and at the Restaurant of the Future.

Restaurants Canada (formerly CRFA) is a national, not-for-profit association, founded in 1944, representing Canada’s diverse and dynamic restaurant and foodservice industry. Restaurants Canada members comprise 30,000 businesses in every segment of the industry, including restaurants, bars, caterers, institutions and their suppliers.

Brandscout took part at this year's MSTA CANADA-CCAfrica Annual Forum, hosted at Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto on November 20th and 21st presented by The Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica) and Mining Suppliers Trade Association Canada (MSTA Canada).

The focus of the event was Creative Disruption. The first day of the conference provided a platform to disrupt existing patterns in a mining industry eager for an efficient, prosperous and sustainable future. The second day established a landscape of the future by connecting companies, suppliers and delegates actively looking to invest, partner and advance business opportunities between Ghana, South Africa and other key countries.

The Forum showcased mining companies and suppliers that are disrupting the industry with new ideas, new technologies and new collaborative relationships.  The result was some great discussion over the two day period, with a lot of positive energy and focus towards making positive changes in mining.

Brandscout paticipated in New Green Frontier - Cannabis investor conference held on November 19th The Arcadian Court, Toronto.

New Green Frontier is an invite-only cannabis investor conference focused on connecting high net worth investors and cannabis experts to the top cannabis companies from across North America. The conference is presented by SmallCapPower and Capital Ideas Media, the financial media division of Gravitas Financial Inc. along with Gravitas Securities in association with Thinking North, The Canadian Securities Exchange, North Lights Partners and Marigold PR. The conference had over 350 attendees. The speakers brought education and insight from North America’s leading cannabis companies, such as MedMen, FSD Pharma, Invictus-MD, Cannabis One and others.

Women in Tourism and Hospitality, WITHOrg, is founded in 2016 by Canadian female hospitality industry pioneers Anne Larcade and Rosanna Caira. It began as a collaborative organization dedicated to building an active network for North American women in the industry to learn and mentor, while strategically addressing significant long-term gender gaps through active engagement with corporations and organizations.
